Macy is an excellent hygienist, as well as a very nice person. Dr. Nelms is highly professional, but also congenial and pleasant. They both explain well and show genuine concern and responsiveness.

This is quite possibly the best dentist out there. I have had a major phobia of the dentist since I was little that left me with poor dental health. Dr Nelms did absolutely everything and anything to make sure I was safe, healthy, and confident in my smile again.

I had my teeth cleaned today at Five Points Family Dental and couldn’t be happier! Alyson was my hygienist and she was wonderful, gentle, thorough, and so easy to talk to. Dr. Nelms was great as well. The whole experience was comfortable and professional from start to finish. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a dental team that truly takes care of their patients! 🦷🪥⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Today’s Dental visit was the most pleasant visit of all my visit. I Love Brandy and all The Dental Hygienist!❤️🤗 I got to sample several different flavors of Tooth Polish and I highly recommend The Strawberry / Cinnamon & Orange Swirl. I am really impressed with Dr. NELMS! She is very particular about her work , how it looks, takes her time and is very gentle. I had to have work done on several teeth and do not like needles so all the work was done with just numbing the gums. She did a fabulous job with very little discomfort. It’s not often I can say that going to The Dentist was or is a fun experience, but today’s visit was exactly that! I would highly recommend FIVE POINTS FAMILY DENTAL & Dr. NELMS for anyone looking for a Dentist in the Athens area.
